For Brian's Birthday we met the family at Twisted Gourmet. If you haven't eaten there, you don't know what you're missing. My parents have eaten there at least 20 times and everytime my dad tries to get something new....he hasn't found ANYTHING that isn't great!
Here is a rare photo of the cousins...Stephanie, Tyler, and Kendra...Here's a group shot before James, Amanda, & Jimmy got there. I meant to ask them to take another later on, but forgot.
While we were there, they had a solo guitarist playing music. My dad went up and asked him to sing Happy Birthday to Brian. He didn't know the guitar chords, so he sang it A Cappella and the entire restaurant sang along. I didn't have my camera out, so I only got the last few seconds....Darn it!
After dinner, we went back to my parent's house to open gifts and have cake.
Brian got the most amazing gift from Aunt Patti. She still had two fishing rods and reels that belonged to her Dad, Brian's Grandpa. He passed away when Brian was about 5, and Brian can actually remember going fishing with him when he was 3 or 4. What an amazing gift!
Amanda, Amy, and Joe....

A good pic of me and my mom...

Coincidentally, my dad had found his dad's (my grandpa) fishing rods not too long ago, and made this lure display using the top of one of his rods. This is one of my Dad & Brian's finalized lures...
Thanks everybody for coming and making Brian's day special!
