Last November, I decided to donate my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. It was a new program at the time and, unlike Locks of Love, they only ask for 8" of hair. (Locks of Love requires at least 10") Surprisingly, when I went to get my hair cut, I ended up cutting off 11 1/2"! I was shocked and my hair didn't end up that short. Here's a pic right after the big cut....
The reason I'm bringing this up today is because I just received a letter in the mail from Pantene thanking me for my donation. I was really impressed they took the time to do that.....If any of you might be thinking it's time to get a major haircut, why not donate it! Here's their website: Beautiful Lengths
You can even join the Million Inch Chain (That's their ultimate goal)...Instead of cutting now, you can just pledge to donate next time you get a cut or when your hair is longer. I joined and uploaded my pic as well. It's an awesome feeling knowing someone will benefit so much, just from my haircut.

You get a haircut and receive thanks and praise... every time I get a haircut I get yelled at for leaving some of the stubble in the sink...
